For all your 4wd related pics and vids, can be to show off your own car or something you've found while searching the net.

General rules apply:

NO NSFW items to be posted.

If you want to discuss a pic/vid quote only that item, dont quote 5 pics to discuss one item.

Dont be a dick towards other members (with-in reason)

Yeh especially in low 4 its touchy as all hell bit annoying but got used to it. Its got fairly good gearing in low and does most decents with little to no brake pedal needed.

i absolutely love them, very quiet on road for how chunky they are (they hum a little but nothing compared to others), seem to do pretty well in the mud although they do clog up a little in low speed mud, nothing a good boot full wont clear out, seem fine on sandstone rocks at pretty much road pressure (havent done much and didnt actually air them down) and on road grip is more than acceptable

overall 4.5/5

Yeh I like em aswell Ive got them on my car aswell (me working for a company that is owned by good year has nothing to with my opinion) once this set is gone I want to go down to the Goodyear Duratrac more suited to the road and not as aggresive tread.

Well in Japan they banned pornography showing a penis. But people still wanted to see porn with penises. Then one day someone figured out that if they drew something that was only "like" a penis, but not a penis, then that was fine. So now there is porn with tentacles.

yeah there is a few getting around that are boosted, i want to slot in the late model big block 2.7L version of the v6 that's currently in it (2.0L DOHC V6)

that jimny is pretty bloody huge, what were the specs? there is so much cool shit available for them these days it's not funny, can see them being just like the sierra's in 15yrs time with a bit of a cult following.

was an 04 i bought brand new back in the day, 5 inch springs. 2 inch body lift. modded shock mounts to run stock shocks, ran up to a 33' muddy but typically a 32. 1.3l petrol 5 speed, welded front diff. all the barwork was done by me. had a flat floor in the back, uhf. really really really needed crawler gears,

if i didnt need to tow a car trailer etc id ditch the patrol for a jimny woth some boost in a heartbeat. had so much fun in that car.

yeah that's the thing, the sierra has zero comfort as a daily but will be awesome offroad, where the Vitara's are a nice car to daily & will do pretty well offroad with some smart driving.

don't buy that one, you'll have a world of pain chasing problems/issues... the weber's for starters don't like angles so it will either stall going down hill or going up hill = real handy.

a mate has a well set up EFI swb hardtop vitara that he's looking to offload as he's just picked up a grand vitara, can get more details if you want Pman?

Have you/anyone you know ever been up that way? Would you guys be interested in a interstate uplaters style 4wd meet up? If you or anyone you know would be interested let me know!!
